Every transformation experiences a moment of pure suspension. Paolo Castelli® explores this threshold with Chrysalis, an installation where design strips itself bare to reveal its own architectural essence.

The Sari armchair emerges in its silver metallic skeleton: a reflective structure that dialogues with a hand-modeled sculptural drape in red sheet metal. It is a visual oxymoron between the rigidity of the material and the fluidity of the artisanal gesture, captured in the precise moment when the idea prepares to become an object. Sari Imago marks the completion of the metamorphosis in the Lounge and Chair versions.

The seat retains the iconic silhouette inspired by the Indian sari, while making its internal architecture explicit. In this capsule, the armrests evolve into metallic arches, while the upholstery transforms into a glossy, intense, and defined leather. A superior balance between sartorial comfort and constructive rigor, designed to define contemporary living spaces and high-end contract environments with character.

Light becomes matter with Anodine Imago, a wall installation that translates the concept of “form non-form” into the strength of metal. The flock of eleven handmade leaves abandons warm golden finishes to dress in pure metallic reflections, brought to life by integrated LED sources. The Imago version introduces a magnetic element of disruption: a single high-gloss painted leaf in the colors of the capsule, a detail that transforms the lighting fixture into a dynamic and customizable work of art.
