All Saints Day is a Christian feast day celebrated on November 1st. It’s a day to honor all of the saints, identified and unknown, who’ve died and at the moment are in heaven. All Saints Day is a time to recollect the lives of the saints and to mirror on their examples of religion and holiness.
The origins of All Saints Day will be traced again to the early days of the Church. Within the 4th century, the Church started to put aside sure days to commemorate the martyrs who had died for his or her religion. Over time, today had been expanded to incorporate all of the saints, and All Saints Day grew to become a serious feast day within the Church calendar.
Within the Western Church, All Saints Day is well known with a Mass and a procession. Within the Japanese Church, All Saints Day is well known with a vigil and a Divine Liturgy.
